Museum-Estate "Botik Peter I" - one of the oldest domestic museums. This place is remarkable because it was here, on Pleshcheevo Lake, that Peter the Great built the famous Funny Flotilla (the forerunner of the Russian Navy). On the territory of the museum-estate there are an obelisk and a monument to Peter the Great, the White Palace, the Bottle house, the rotunda, the Triumphal Gate and the lodge. All the items presented in this museum are unique.
The museum appeared in 1803, when the Vladimir Governor Ivan Mikhailovich Dolgoruky ordered to build the Botnia House. This is the building where the "Fortuna" boat was placed for storage. The Botnia House opened with a loud motto: "Great Peter is a diligent Pereslavl."
