Cat's cafe

Cafe Cat Cats in St. Petersburg offers its visitors to "chat" with cats for a cup of coffee. Fluffy animals walk around the cafe's premises, you can play with them, pat them or just look at them. True, there is one golden rule: if a cat does not want to communicate with you, you can not force them in any way. In total there are eight cats in the cafe: four thoroughbreds, bought from breeders, and four former residents of the Hermitage, in which they were supposed to catch mice.

There are cats in this cafe everywhere: the walls are hung with photos and pictures of animals, there is also a library with literature about them. Here you can also buy souvenirs with images of cats.

The practice of creating such institutions is widespread in the world. Such cafes have long existed in Japan and in European countries. Only in Tokyo there are more than 40 such places of food, the first of which was opened in 1998.
