The Military History Museum of the Black Sea Fleet is one of the oldest museums in the world of similar themes, and was opened in 1869. The museum is located in a beautiful building, built especially for him in the late 19th century. Here is a small exposition, illuminating the way of life and customs of the Russian fleet of times not only of the empire, but also of the Soviet Union, and then again of Russia - up to the present day.
Address: st. Lenina, 11.

A very beautiful small building, decorated with cast-iron antique cannons, armatures depicting the stern and nasal parts of the ship, built in the 19th century and rebuilt in 1948. This is the Military Historical ... Read full review

We could not go inside right now, because there was an evening, and the museum is open until five, but the next day we planned to visit it. On Mondays and Tuesdays the museum does not work. Ticket cost 25 hryvnia, and for photography had to pay another 15. But it was worth it, because the exposition was extremely interesting .... Read the entire review

To begin with, the building itself built in the 19th century already deserves special attention. Inside the exposition is collected, having seen which it is easy to imagine the essence of the sailors of the Russian fleet of different ... Read the whole review
