Kumysnaya Polyana - a giant forest park with an area of ​​4417 hectares, enveloping the city of Saratov from the west. The park is located on the Lysogorsky plateau, and on the territory of the Koumiss glade there is a huge number of representatives of various species of wild fauna: moose, foxes, roe deer, hares, wild boars and even owls.

The forest park is regularly ennobled (garbage collection, springs are arranged, walking paths are created), which attracts a large number of holidaymakers. There are several dispensaries, sanatoriums, ski centers and children's camps on the territory of the Koumiss glade

There is also a bicycle rental. One item is located at the entrance to the forest park from Novouzenskaya street, others - on the First and Fifth Dacha streets. The rental price is 250 rubles per hour or 500 rubles per day on weekdays and 700 rubles per day on weekends. In the winter in the First Dachnaya you can practice in winter sports - go skiing, snowboarding or sledding.

How to get here

It's very easy to get to the forest park Kumysnaya Polyana by public transport. On tram number 3, go to the stop "6 Dachnaya", then transfer to tram number 4 and go to the stop "10 Dachnaya."

On the Lysogorskoe plateau it is best to climb the Oktyabrsky gorge through the terrenkur. Although no one forbids walking, however, you can get upstairs exhausted and tired.
