Who during the trip to the Urals did not visit the local celebrity Taganay, he did not see the Urals. The name of the mountain range in translation from ancient Turkic means: "The support of God", the chumens, in turn, called it "Stone of Light", and the Etruscans - "The Newly Born Light." It was here, in the vicinity of the grandiose ridge, that Mother Nature developed its colorful canvas, which is cast with taiga turquoise and ocher of the tundra, splashed the lake lake water, dissolved the braids of turbulent rivers, scattered cranberries on picturesque fringes.
Not surprisingly, this poetic land is fanned with a haze of myths. Someone is coming here to breathe in full fattened aroma of tar and forest berries air, someone is curious to personally find the enticing oracles of Hyperborea, a mythical land, the ancient inhabitants - whose visionaries once concealed their precious wealth in the taiga subsoil.
Such a rich history Taganay owes its unique location: it hovers between Europe and Asia, rasposovaly two vast river basins - Volga-Kama and Ob-Irtysh. It is here that untouched by human hand, amazing areas of mountain tundra, relict forests and moss bogs.
How to get here
There is a national park "Taganay" at the foot of the Kruglitsa mountain in the territory of the former power line Zlatoust-Karabash. To get to the entrance, you need to get from Zlatoust by bus or bus to the stop "Railway Polyclinic" and cross the Pushkinsky village.
What to see
The upper parts of the Great Kialim attract fishermen with a stream trout, glistening in rare sunshine with iridescent scales, which is a kind of Caspian salmon.
Also attractive are the shores of Lake Turgoyak, which is just a few kilometers from Taganaya, in the vicinity of which ancient megalithic structures - dolmens dating back to the 3rd millennium BC - were found.
The peak of the ridge, Mount Kruglitsa, resembles the human head of the head, to which the skies were eccentrically thrown over with a snow-white headdress. It is worth looking into the valley of fairy tales, stuck between the Response crest and Kruglitsa. Nature, having felt the inspiration, carved unusual stone figures of giants from the stone and placed them along green fields and woody fringes.
It's risky enough to master the area yourself: till now, the old-timers are assured of the mystical power of these places, where people are lost. But especially brave nevertheless are torn into impenetrable thickets to see the grave of the elder Zosima, which the Old Believers revered as a shrine. Do not be surprised if on the trail Taganaya you will meet Buddhist monks who believe that the Buddha also made stops in the Urals.
All these riches are enclosed in the borders of the National Park "Taganay", in the center of which is Zlatoust.
