The mountains here are distinguished by a unique composition of rocks, the main component of which is alkaline nepheline syenite - miaskit .In the thick impenetrable forest swamps there are still preserved ancient mica and topaz copies of the times of the Cossack Prutov .Unique is the spear No. 8 located next to the museum, in which at different times scientists have found impressive sizes of crystals of black mica, the weight of one of which reached 3 poods 33 pounds weight .Zircon more than 21 centimeter in diameter was found in the bowels of the mine No. 12 or zirconia F .F .Blum and P .N .Barbot de Marni .

Curious are the copies of Prutovskaya, Cryolith, Blumovskaya and Saveliev grotto. The largest and deepest Blumovskaya mine recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. All this became the reason for the creation of a mineral reserve with 87 mineral mines, which includes a scientific base stuffed with laboratories, and an original museum of nature in the South Urals.
