How to get to Vladimir?
Responsible information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
Vladimir is located 100 km from Ivanovo, 180 km from Moscow and 220 km from Nizhny Novgorod. Therefore, it is the easiest to get to from these cities. From them to Vladimir you can get on buses or passing (going from Gusia-Khrustalnogo, Murom, Vichugi and others) buses. In addition, from Moscow to the destination there are shuttle buses that depart from Kursk railway station. But regular buses leave from Shchelkovsky bus station
From Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg and Moscow to Vladimir, you can get there by train. The fastest way to get from the last two cities is at Sapsan. True, a ticket that costs a thousand is not affordable, so electric trains and intercity trains stopping at the Vladimir railway station are still popular
These variants of driving to a destination are often preferable to traveling by car. Despite the good condition of the M7 Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod route, many drivers prefer not to contact it because of the heavy traffic and the abundance of trucks.
