The symbol of the southern Crimea is captivated by the bizarre color of the rocks and the line of figured teeth. The height of Ai-Petri is 1234 m - this is the Main peak, - in the silhouette of the mountain, both the Western and Eastern extremities are clearly visible. Often speaking of Ai-Petri, I mean the whole Ai-Petrin jail, but the summit itself is in the south plateau.
Ai-Petri not only a picturesque mountain, but also the windiest point in Ukraine. Because of the strength of the wind, the idea of starting a wind farm on a plateau did not take root: the blades were simply ripped off by gusts. Also, the mountain in Yalta is recognized as the place where foggy days are most often registered in the country.
You can get to Ai-Petri in various ways, the most comfortable of them is a cable car journey from Yalta. A walk will be possible on foot, including the famous Botkin path. Or by taking a fixed-route taxi to the desired point from the Yalta bus station. On the slopes of Ai-Petri there are many attractions. It is worth seeing the Ai-Petrine meridian, mysterious caves, a meteorological station, the peak of Bedenje-Kyr. And from the observation deck on the plateau, a view of the coast will open.

One of my favorite places in Crimea is of course Ai-Petri. For me, this is really an ideal place, where, on the one hand, mountain, and on the other, let it not be possible to reach it. At Ai Petri was 5 times, went always by herself from Yalta by bus from the railway station (11 hryvnia like). the cost of climbing the cable car is about 60 hryvnia
In 2013 I drove for the first time from the top down by car, before that I climbed and descended only on the cable car. By car, I assure you, it's even more terrible ... Read the whole review

Ai-Petri mountain peaks are visible from anywhere in the Big Yalta, and we had this view from the window, and the first thing I saw when I woke up in the morning is the picturesque views of the mountain landscapes. We had everything planned and the ascent of Ai-Petri fell on the last day of vacation. Of course, you can take a full tour, where you will be brought, unloaded, but the impressions will be incomplete. We decided to do it our own way, that is, climb the ropeway up independently, and go down the mountain along one of the trails. The most ... Read the whole review

During the Soviets Crimea played the role of the main health resort, the main resort center of the whole vast country. Such recognition was given to the region largely due to the fact that it has unique natural monuments on its territory, which have no analogues, not only in Ukraine, but all over the world. We have been going to the Crimea for 4 years, the last time there was in the year before, that is 2011. I want to tell you about the biggest, and in the literal and figurative sense, attractions - the Grand Canyon.

Ai-Petri Mountain - one of the most beautiful and highest mountains of Crimea, height which is 1234 meters. The teeth of the mountain are formed from the protrusion of reef limestones. If you look at Ai-Petri from the bottom up, you can see four large prongs. In addition to these, large, there are many small ones.
At the top of the mountain you can find yourself using the cable car Mishor - Pine Forest - Ai-Petri. During the ascent, a beautiful view opens up to the Black Sea coast, and the ascent to the mountain will pass smoothly. There will be a feeling, ... Read the whole review

Ai-Petri Mountain - one of the most beautiful places in the Crimea, where I ever had to visit. I was here in the summer and in the winter. At any time of year this place is amazing. To get to the top of the mountain there are several ways: climbing the cable car from Mishor, from Mishor along the "serpentine" road to the foot of the mountain by car, which collects the excursion group. Each way is interesting and unforgettable in its own way. In the summer we went by car, where we had several stops and the possibility ... Read the whole review

Resting in Alupka, allocated a day to climb Mount Ai Petri, on the famous cable car, which is almost the only one in its weight headquarters in Europe. We went there earlier, because we were warned about the big queues at the ticket offices. Although we came early, the queue was still standing. First, in order to buy a ticket, and then, that would get into the booth. A certain number of people are admitted to the booth (in my 30 or 35) after which we rise above the trees to the transfer point, from ... Read the whole review

At Mount Ai-Petri I visited many times, at different times of the year and went up there with different individuals.
There's good in any season. In the winter, having risen on Ai-Petri, you are transferred from Autumn to a real snowy winter, because in the valley of the mountain - in Yalta and Miskhor there is no winter as such; even there, January is like the autumn month. But rising up in this period on Ai-Petri, you will get into the most real Siberian winter: with snowdrifts, temperatures to minus 15-20 degrees, and with real ski slopes where you can ...
