Massandra is the easiest way to get to Yalta. Count Mikhail Semenovich Vorontsov developed winemaking from the "primitive" state to the industrial . Massandra Park
Not only Massandra Palace, but the park is the pride of these places. This park was founded in 1822 on the initiative of the owner of Massandra, Olga Stanislavovna Naryshkina. The work was carried out by the famous German gardener Karl Kebach. On the place of an oak-hornbeam forest there was a park in English style. Flower beds were laid, paths were laid, alleys were created. In the park were planted cypresses, cedars, junipers, Mediterranean pines, some kinds of exotic trees: olives, lemons, figs.
