How to get here
The city is located on the slope of the Inner Ridge of the Crimean Mountains, in a valley of the Kachi tributary, just 30 km south-west of the Crimean capital - Simferopol, on the Simferopol (25 km) - Sevastopol. At least 11 buses go to Bakhchisarai from Sevastopol in the winter (en route is 1 hour, the fare is about 10 hryvnia) and 26 - in the summer. From the western bus station of Simferopol also runs a mass of direct buses passing through Bakhchisarai (on the way 1 hour, 10 hryvnia, in the summer departure hourly.)

Transport
All buses arrive to the railway station of the city, which is 3 km from the Khan's Palace. To reach which you can by bus, minibus number 2 (1, 5-2 hryvnia) or taxi (25 hryvnia). You can walk on foot for 30-45 minutes - go 300 m to the left (if you stand with your back to the station) to a large area, from which a large long street leaves, which will lead to Hansaray. Uspensky monastery and Chufut-Kale are on the same road 2 km further, minibuses also run there.
Taxi buses and buses mostly work on the route Old Town - Railway Station - New Town. In the Old Town most buses and buses reach Salachik, but some reach only the Khan's Palace.
