Neither the dinosaur park nor the castle of the knights are working on January 1. Dinosaur Park is open only from May to October. From November to April it is closed. Knight's castle works every day except Mondays and holidays

According to the programs of New Year's tours, from January 2 to the Malbork Castle begin to arrange excursions. On January 1, the official day off, everything will be closed, plus the castle itself will be closed on January 6, and tourists will be allowed to enter the fortress. In general, the principle of the castle is such that even when the interiors are closed and excursions inside the castle are not arranged, you can walk around the fortress and enjoy the views of the castle from the outside. Sometimes only part of the interior of the castle is closed from visits.

Dinosaur Park is in the open air and therefore closed for the winter. Opening in 2015 is scheduled for April 26 - dinosaurs "wake up" at 10 am to please young visitors until the middle of September
