Amsterdam has long famous as a city of the freedom of creators and geniuses, receiving in their gentle embrace misunderstood artists like during their lifetime, and after it . It is no coincidence that the creations of Van Gogh, who lived a short, bright life, were carefully preserved here . Thanks to the efforts of the wife of his beloved and beloved brother Theo Van Gogh, about 700 letters of genius, his numerous works saw the light, the noble heart of an early widowed Joanna managed to feel and see in the canvases of Vince a heartrending anguish and that special mood that is not conveyed by the words that still pierces every viewer in his paintings .

The largest collection of works by Van Gogh is collected in the Museum of Amsterdam, built by a famous Dutch architect in the 20s of the last century . The building features more than 200 paintings and drawings, letters of the famous artist's correspondence with his brother, which was integrated into the three-volume edition, thanks to the efforts of John and significantly to shed light on the life of the master.

Ekpozitsiya museum Territorial Museum is divided in accordance with the five important stages of Van Gogh's work: early works, Paris, Arles, Saint-Remy and Over. Curious exhibitions of private collections and museum archives are regularly held in the premises attached to the museum. In addition to Van Gogh's works in these halls, one can get acquainted with the works of his contemporaries, friends in the shop of that time.

The exhibition is a chronologically adjusted story about the artist's work, which gradually opens from the picture to the picture, from the sketch to the engraving, Goga, the history of his creative search, his disappointments, discoveries. However, until now the reasons, because of which at 37 Vincent shot himself in the chest, remain a mystery. His secret. Perhaps, between the fatalities, the inevitability of death and genius, indeed, a small distance, overcome by a bullet fired from a revolver, in a split second.

Picking up a brush and a pencil at a later age, Van Gogh left a huge, invaluable legacy that perpetuated his name, the name of a man who, during his lifetime, possessed a heavy character, a man exhausted by the search for his place in the mechanism of the universe. It is terrible to imagine that contemporaries surrounding Vincent strongly insisted on the destruction of his works, but devoted to the family of Van Goghs, John managed to resist ill-wishers and literally revived the artist and immortalized him in the eyes of the whole world.

The museum also has a Van Gogh creative laboratory , the situation in which he created was maximally recreated, therefore, the visit will not only provide aesthetic pleasure, it has unique information and educational value.

Beautiful Museum of Fine Van Gogh November 25, 2013

Marina
was here in September 2011
We visited Amsterdam about two years ago 2 a year ago and, of course, could not help visiting the Van Gogh Museum. We got to the museum by tram number 2 (and still can be 5) to the station Van Baerlestraat. At the entrance to the museum are long lines, thousands of people from all over the world come to this museum. We stayed at least 40 minutes before we could go in.
The ticket price is 15 euros, but if you buy twin tickets (for example, with the Madame Tussauds Museum), you'll get a little cheaper. Look for these tickets online .... Read the entire review
