Madurodam Park
Hague, George Maduroplein 1 Madurodam Park is not in vain considered one of the main entertainment of the city. Opened in 1952, a miniature town developed, expanded and now it is a whole park, which you can see from the side - a rather interesting sight.
So let's briefly go over the most museums of The Hague and finally determine which of them are worthy "must-visit" status. It's better to start with the legendary Mauritshuis, where there is an amazing exhibition of paintings by Dutch masters of the golden 17th century - and this is Vermeer, Rembrandt, and the genius Potter.
Continuing the art theme, one should definitely look into the museum of Eschermuseum - a famous graphic artist and a popular Dutch artist who is in the former royal court "Lange Voorhout". Bright black-and-white and colorful paintings will undoubtedly impress even distant art world tourists.
Enjoying the Dutch "arts", visit the Gemeentemuseum. Here, in addition to musical instruments, modern art and fashionable clothes from different eras, you can get acquainted with a decent collection of paintings by the famous Pete Mondrian.
Finally, there are a couple of meetings that should not be overlooked. Firstly, the Museum of "sculpture at sea" (Beelden aan Zee), which is in the nearby village of Scheveningen. The collection consists of sculptures of the 20th century. Secondly, the educational Museon (Museon), where it is worth reducing children: interesting expositions about science, ethnology and similar things, always attracting the attention of children. And, finally, the open-air museum of Madurodam, where tiny copies of all the main sights of Holland are exhibited.
