The life and health of a tourist in Montenegrin cities is practically nothing. The streets of some resort towns in Montenegro are equipped with surveillance cameras - for example, they are fully equipped with the Old Town in Budva. However, for the sake of safety, do not move away at night from far away from illuminated tourist avenues.

In the homes of many Montenegrins, firearms are kept, which is permitted by law, but the inhabitant of this friendly country will never come to mind using it against a tourist. Therefore, the means of personal self-defense (gas cartridges, electric shock, combat weapons) should be left in Russia. In addition, the import of weapons into the country is prohibited.

You probably will not feel the language problem. Serbian language in Montenegro is intuitively understandable to Russian people, many Montenegrins know the Russian language, the inscriptions are made mostly in Cyrillic. But remember that the Montenegrins do not welcome the conversation with tourists on the Balkan conflict of the 1990's - 2000's - be tactful, try not to touch it.

Montenegrins are very friendly and friendly people, they are always ready to help strayed tourists.

Montenegro is an Orthodox country with a large number of temples and monasteries, somewhat more ascetic and simple than Russian ones. A woman is allowed to enter the temple with her head uncovered and in trousers. You can visit the temple in light summer clothes, but it is not recommended to unduly unnecessary to anyone.

Do not photograph objects of transport, energy, military facilities, seaports - in some cases such a ban is reported by a crossed out image of the camera. Always keep two photocopies of your passport pages, keep them separately, and leave a photocopy in Russia. In general, Montenegrins are very friendly and friendly people, they are always ready to help strayed tourists.
