Petrovac, located 17 km from Budva is surrounded by olive groves and dense pine forests, so the microclimate there is very mild. The atmosphere at the resort is calm and cozy, there are enough restaurants and bars, but everything stops at around 12 am and you can enjoy a sound sleep in absolute silence.

Getting there

Both from Tivat airport, from Podgorica airport to Petrovac go about the same time for about an hour. It can be reached by bus or taxi. The bus station is located about a kilometer away from the beach, it is easy to find by the signs. From there every half hour buses go to Budva and Bar (2-2, 5 euros), about every hour - to Kotor (making stops in Budva, Becici, Tivat, 4 euros), less often - to Podgorica, Cetinje, Niksic, Danilovgrad.

It is convenient to get to Budva or Bar by taxi, one way it will cost from 15-20 EUR. In addition, in Pterovac, there is no difficulty in finding a car for rent, you just have to turn to a reselling desk or one of the travel agencies on the embankment.

Beaches Petrovac

Petrovac includes two beaches - the main one, which stretches along the entire resort, and Lucice, to which it takes 5-10 minutes. Both small pebbles, the depth is quite large and for 3-5 meters from the shore the children no longer splash. Beaches are equipped with everything necessary, namely shower rooms (free of charge), sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets (at a cafe for free, or from 30 euro cents), bars and restaurants.

The price of a lounger / umbrella is about 5 EUR per day, some hotels (for example, Vile Oliva and Rivjera) provide their guests free of charge (on the main beach). There are also separate free areas where you can spread your towel, arrange an umbrella and enjoy the cleanest sea absolutely free of what many prefer to do. The resort is abundantly selling special bedding, mattresses and similar "rookeries" for tourists (all up to 10 euros) who do not want to spend money every day for sunbeds and umbrellas.

The main beach stretches for about 2 km, along it is a charming embankment with cafes, restaurants and shops. The beach of Lučice is slightly more picturesque, the entrance to the water is more convenient there, as the pebbles in places are similar to sand, while on the main beach there are large Kamenyuki at the entrance to the water. It is located to the left of the main beach, to it leads a comfortable asphalt road. Before entering the beach there is parking, for a fee you can drive your car directly to the coast and park there.

There are no hotels in Lucice, it's a bit wild stretch of the beach, except for the waterfront and a couple of restaurants there is not even a residential one houses, which attracts tourists to walk exactly to this beach - it's very picturesque. On both sides the beach is covered with stone cliffs with pine trees, one of which can be climbed behind panoramic views of the sea. In addition, on Lučice there is one long water slide with sea water, which ends in a small pool, carved in stone. For children it is absolutely safe. Cost: 5 runs for 1 EUR.

Cuisine and restaurants

Most of the hotels offer guests with half-board - tomorrow and dinner, many people prefer to dine in restaurants or as a snack on the beach fend . traditional for Crimea boiled corn are also spread as donuts, cakes and all sorts of delicious . Big hamburger from this piece of perfectly fried meat on the embankment will cost about 2 EUR, there are also good pieces of pizza (1, 5 euros), ice cream (from 1 E UR for 2 balls) and the like snacks . Problems with choosing a restaurant in the resort will not be. On the beach of Lučice there is an excellent fish restaurant, which is amazingly picturesque - on the mountainside, overlooking the beach and the sea, inscribed in a landscape of pine and rocks. Lunch for two there will cost about 30-40 EUR with drinks. In addition, there is one pizzeria, two bars where you can taste pizza and hamburgers.

On the main beach restaurants will have to list too long, so rich in choice.
