We're going to Cancun. We think, whether to take with us our 6-year-old child. Would he be bored there?

For recreation with children I would recommend Riviera Maya, not Cancun. For children there is a "paradise" and lots of entertainment - parks with animals, swimming with dolphins, water parks.

Cancun is more focused on adults and youth, who love active rest and night life. For the child, the Riviera Maya next to Cancun would be more suitable.
