How to get here
Madonna di Campiglio and the nearby resort of Pinzolo are available all year round by buses from Trento (€ 8, 1½ hours, five times a day), Milan (€ 12, 3¾ hours, once a day) and from Brescia.
From mid-December to mid-April, the shuttle buses run between Madonna and Pinzolo for skiers, and once a week ski bass from Milan and Milan Malpensa airport, as well as Bergamo airports (one way € 36) and Verona via Brescia (in one end € 30).

The culinary traditions of the valley of Val Rendena go back to their ancient roots, the distinctive feature of which is a rather unconventional mixture of ingredients and bold and authentic tastes. In particular, dishes from corn and polenta, farm products, herbs are popular here. Sausages, cheeses, mushrooms and wild berries are typical delicacies of Val Rendena.
Also here is the famous grape vodka grappa with various flavors, for example, wild berries or other mountain plants (dwarf spruce and junior). Grappa is brewed according to the traditional recipes of the valley and is considered an ideal digest after every lunch.
There are also many farms that produce natural and tasty foods such as honey, milk, yoghurt, meat sausages and cheeses. Note the Spressa delle Giudicarie (DOP) cheese, made from the milk of the Rendena cows. At the end of summer Trentino even hosts a special festival Giovenche di Razza Rendena with a parade and other fun activities. It is devoted to the return of this breed from summer pastures to wintering.
Directly in Madonna di Campiglio, you can pay attention to the La Stube restaurant at the Bio-Hotel Hermitage, which boasts one Michelin star (a very prestigious culinary award). A wonderful day can be spent in cafes and bars not only Madonna di Campiglio, but also the whole valley of Val Rendena, as well as on the slopes, where a wide selection of après-ski is also presented. Trails Madonna di Campiglio
In the skiing plan, Madonna di Campiglio is suitable for holidaymakers of any level of skiing. Linked routes surround the town on three sides, their total length is about 90 km, the height difference is 1100 meters.
For professionals, a "black" descent from the top of Monte Spinale (2,093 m), a short Variante Marchi route in the area of Malga Montagnoli and Canalone Miramonti on the southern slope of the resort
For skiers of an average level, trails on the northern slope will do. It is worth noting the interesting long descent of the Poza Vecia, the wriggering Graffer and the five laghi track descending from Rifugio Pancugolo.

There are few "black" trails here, but comfortable, well-prepared routes of medium complexity and "blue" trails will provide easier amateurs of "riding for rest" with a wide field of activity. The wide slopes give an opportunity for off-piste skiing of medium complexity. Another couple of interesting difficult descents with different options are in Ponte di Legno, where the skiing is lower, and along the trails laid in the forest, you can ride well even in the snow.
The southern part is more complicated - the TV cabins lift skiers up to Passo Paradiso (Passenger Paradiso, 2585 m), from where a very difficult piste-Paradiso route runs 2, 5 km long. And the excellent "black" glacier track is one of the few places in the country where you can go for a drive in the summer (which is what Italy's ski teams are doing). Snowboarders will be pleased with the board park in Tonale.
A single ski-pass Skirama Dolomiti allows you to ride on the slopes of the resorts of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Val di Sole, Passo Tonale, Peyo and Monte Bondone. Chairlift Genziana connects Madonna di Campiglio with Marilleva and Folgarida.
