Since December 3, tourists in Rome are waiting for a magnificent gift: they will be able to visit the extensive excavations, which resulted in the discovery of genuine treasures of antiquity. The site of the excavations is a dungeon of Palazzo Valentini Palace, in which the administration of the Province of Rome sits. At the opening ceremony will be attended by the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano.

Discovered buildings date back to the 2nd - 4th centuries BC. and are part of the excavation area of 1.800 square meters, open to visit in 2004. Here there are two ancient Roman houses and "the small terms of Troyan". In the course of the last excavations, on the contrary, the "frigidarium" (a cool room in an ancient Roman bath), which is part of the thermal complex, and an adjacent room with the use of porphyry, serpentine and African marble, were again seen. The complex is decorated with the décor typical of the four-century residences in Osti.

Visiting these excavations will leave the most unforgettable impressions due to the active use in their design of computer graphics and modern multimedia technologies. Visitors will be able to experience the ancient Roman spirit and touch the origins of the ancient world.
