Good afternoon, dear experts! ) I'm going to Rome with my baby for a week. I want to plan my stay in the city. Priority is given to walking. One day I plan to devote to the Vatican, one to the Borghese Gallery.

Tell me, please, the best routes, in terms of location of attractions relative to each other and, perhaps, the semantic group (fountains, temples, etc.) as much as possible of the perception of information per day.

From which points are the most beautiful views of the city?

Variant of a walk in the night Rome.

I would be grateful for your advice)

If you plan to spend time shock, I would recommend booking a package (transfers, hotel, excursions) through a travel agent. This will give an opportunity to get a lot of excursions in Russian as part of the group for acceptable money. The Vatican is a very cumbersome object, it usually takes at least 4 hours, then you can have a snack and continue your excursion to St. Peter's Cathedral.

The tour of the Borghese Gallery takes about 2 hours, so on this day you can add a sightseeing tour (walking or on a sightseeing bus).

I recommend that you visit the following cathedrals, in 4е hours you can meet: St. Stairs + St. Cross + Paul + John. After a rest / lunch, you can continue your walk along the Trasteveri.

Not far from Rome are Florence and Naples. One and a half hours on the train and you will find yourself in completely different, stunning cities. If there are forces and time, I advise you to go:)

If you are planning a trip for April and beyond, you can split the stay: 4 nights Rome and 3 nights on the coast, because it starts north, south of Rome only 20 km.
