Do tourist sites work in Rome on Christmas holidays?
Responses information department of the "Tourism Subtlety"
Some tourist sites on holiday Christmas days are closed, others, on the contrary, work regularly, delighting many tourists.
For example, the Colosseum in Rome does not work on December 25 and 1 January. The rest of the days the cult place is open from 8:30 to 19:00. But the museum complex of the Vatican works from November to February every day, except Sunday, from 8:45 to 13:45. St. Peter's Cathedral during the winter holidays is open every day from 8:00 to 17:00. The Roman Pantheon also works in the winter, it can be visited any day of the week
