Western beaches of the Bukit Peninsula
Bali, BukitThe Bukit Peninsula can be figuratively compared to a drop that "drains" from the southern end of Bali. In the eastern part of this drop is located Nusa Dua. In the western - less untwisted resorts; but here the beaches with light sand are considered by many to be the best on all Bali.
Kanggu
Bali, CangguKanggu is a beach area in the south of Bali, 20 minutes drive north of Seminyak and half way south of Tanah Lot. This is a small village, and the very sand strip on which it stands. The shore, covered with black sand, stretches for about 8 km, starting from the village of Berava.
Karma Beach
Bali, Karma BeachThis sandy beach is located near Ungasan, at the southernmost point of Bali, and can easily be called one of the prettiest. Karma Beach - paid beach, but for such a paradise township fee is not too high.
Nyang-Niang
Bali, Badung, Kuta SelatanOften we hear about the "secret" and "deserted" beaches of Bali, which in fact are not a secret to anyone else. With the beach of Nyang-Nyang, this is not the case: its location has, until now, really remained classified. And no wonder.
Padang Bai
Bali, Padang BaiPadang-Bai is a small port town in the east of Bali. Most tourists come here to cross over to Lombok, and do not even know what they are missing. Yes, Padang-Bai's own beach is not very suitable for bathing, as it is for any ferry terminal, and looks dull.
Pemuteran
Bali, Buleleng, GerokgakPemuteran is one of the best places for diving and snorkeling in Bali. The world's largest project to create an artificial coral reef "Bio-Rock" is launched here. On the reef, you can spend the whole day with a mask and fins. About 10 diving centers work in the village and its environs.
Beach Amed
Bali, Amed BeachAmed - one of the most secluded and little-visited beaches of Bali. It is located in the easternmost part of the island, where Mount Agung stands, and most beaches are covered with large black volcanic sand - Amed is no exception. Here you will not see crazy surfers, only quiet fishing boats.
Geger Beach
Bali, Geger BeachFor those who consider the high waves of Bali rather a disadvantage, rather than an advantage, the beach Geger - this is what you need. It is located in Savangan, near the Noosa-Dua golf course, 3 km from the southern part of the resort. Blue-green water here remains calm almost always thanks to the coral reef.
Kuta has already become a real mecca for surfers, so for those who are interested in active recreation, the local beach will do the best. In addition to high waves, it also attracts surfers by the fact that this is the only place on the coast where there is not a single coral reef near the coast and in case of a fall you do not have to look for the nearest medical center.
Quite near Kuta are two more beaches - Seminyak and Legian. They have fewer people than Kut. As on the whole western coast, there are waves here, and at times quite strong - but still not the same as in Kuta, so you can not only surf here, but also swim comfortably enough.
In Jimbaran, the sea is much calmer, and the dimensions of the waves are suitable for both novice surfers and people who just want to swim safely. The sand on the beach is very shallow and pleasant to the touch, water without algae, and tides and tides are almost invisible. The only drawback is found only one - waves greatly raise the sand from the bottom, so the water at the coast is rather muddy. In addition, this is the best place for practicing traditional fishing on the whole island.
Sanur's beaches are also considered one of the best - but more peaceful pastime. The sea is calm throughout almost the whole year, the water in it is crystal clear, and white sand is admired even by many experienced tourists. Ideal for both diving and lazy beach holidays.
In Nusa Dua, despite the luxury of the resort, the beach is not so good. There is fine sand here, but the sea is almost always turbid, the water is full of algae, its level fluctuates strongly during tides and ebbs, and it is convenient to swim only during tides.
