Look at the hotels in Tsivili, Laganas, Kalamaki, Argassi

There are no particularly good beaches within the city, still it's a port city. The city beach of Zakynthos is populous, the length of the beach is 400 m. The beach is sandy and pebbly, equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, and there are dressing rooms. In the immediate vicinity of the beach there are cozy cafes with local cuisine. Near the beach there is a large parking. There are no water activities on the beach, however, right behind it there are tennis courts and a basketball court

Although there is a beach in the city, the local population prefers to go to the sandy beaches of the surrounding resorts.
