Wright-im-Winkl is a German village that has become popular due to its extensive skiing region, located at the intersection of three regions - Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria. The ski season starts here in December and lasts until mid-April.
In Wright-im-Winkle it is good to have a rest for families with children, there is also enough comfortable skating for skiers with little experience. The resort operates one of the world's best children's ski schools under the leadership of the two-time winner of the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

The main center of the resort is the plateau of Steinplatte, most of which belongs to the Austrian resort of Waidring. There are tracks of different levels of complexity. The region is divided into two main skiing areas, each with its own lifts.
The closest skiing area to the city will be interesting not to particularly strong skiers: here prevail are wide "blue" tracks. The location is also convenient for those who plan to combine skiing and sightseeing.
Above the beginning of the route is more difficult - "red" and even one "black" descent. There are long descents for lovers of virgin skating, and the adherents of plain skies here wait for about 90 km of trails.
The resort has good slopes for snowboarding, but there are no snow parks, no pipes. The slopes are equipped with snow cannons, lifts are mostly speed chairlifts.

The resort has a skating rink, curling, tennis center, sports center, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, night club, restaurants with national cuisine, discotheques and theater, where Bavarian folklore nights often take place. In addition, tourists can go to Lake Chiemsee, where there is a luxurious complex of palaces of the last Bavarian monarch. But still it is worth noting that the evening life here is not too diverse.
