Hamburg Airport Fulstütel is Germany's oldest airport and one of the oldest airports in Europe. It was opened in the early 20th century and still remains one of the five busiest airports in the region. By the end of the last century, the question arose of moving the airport further away from the city, but instead it was reconstructed, added administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities and breathed new life into the airport.
At the airport there are two terminals and two runways capable of accepting airplanes of any kind. The airport specializes in flights to Europe, especially to the countries of Scandinavia
How to get there
Special express buses are sent to the city from the airport every 15 minutes. The cost of the trip is just under 5 EUR, travel time is 30 minutes.
The taxi ride to the city center will cost only 15 EUR, this mode of travel is optimal if you have large baggage or if you travel with children .
Services
After the reconstruction, the airport acquired a separate hotel building and as a whole significantly increased its area, due to which it comfortably accommodates a lot of restaurants, shops, an extensive duty free zone. There are playrooms for children. At the airport there are no problems with the storage chambers, their size allows you to cope with any volume of things even in peak periods.- Telephone for inquiries: +49 (40) 507-50.
