Sprengel Museum

Kästner Museum
The exposition of the Kestner Museum is represented by Greek and Egyptian art, works of ancient Romans and Etruscans, as well as handicraft products ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Museum of Lower Saxony
The Museum of Lower Saxony (Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum) is represented by the State Gallery (Landesgalerie) with a collection of paintings and sculptures covering the period from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, as well as sections devoted to archeology, natural history and ethnology. In addition, the museum has vivariums with fish, amphibians, reptiles and arthropods.

Historical Museum

Museum of Textile Arts
The basis of the exposition of the museum of textile art (Museum für Textile Kunst) is the collection of Erica Knup, collected by her during her travels around the world and presented with fabrics, scarves, scarves and dresses from different eras and countries. In addition to the collection of wedding dresses, the museum presents a collection of original clothes and costumes from the 1950s and 1970s.

Museum of Energy History
