How to get from the airport in Hamburg to the center?

Responsible information department of the "Subtlety of Tourism"
Hamburg Airport Fuhlsbüttel is very convenient for tourists, only 8-9 km from the city center. You can get there by picking up one of the taxis at the exit from the terminals, or by public transport. It includes urban ground-based S-Bahn trains, whose stops are in front of the airport terminals. (This is not the metro, unlike the U-Bahn.) To get to the center of Hamburg, you need to take a train, every 10-15 minutes, cruising along the S1 line. After 25 minutes, paying about 2.75 EUR, you will be at the Hauptbahnhof Central Station.

You can get there by bus. Express from the airport was canceled, so that only the regular city routes remain at the disposal of the arrivals. At night, it is No. 606 (Langenhorn-U-Ochsenzoll-Hauptbahnhof-Rathausmarkt), in the afternoon walk No. 292 (Langenhorn-metro U-Ochsenzoll, Lufthansa Basis, U-Lattenkamp metro), 114 (Groß Borstel-Eppendorfer Baum-Klosterstern), 23 (Niendorf-Markt, Billstedt), 26 (City Nord-Farmsen-S-Rahlstedt), 39 (Teufelsbrück-metro U-Wandsbek Markt), at any time of day but not all days No. 274 (U and U trains /S-Ohlsdorf-Airport).
