How to get here
In the Altiport area there is an airfield from where you can fly to Geneva or Lyon (instead of transfer by car or bus): it is very convenient and saves time (but, of course, not money). An ordinary bus or car transfer will take 2 hours from Geneva and 2, 5 hours from Lyon. The nearest railway station. The station is located 30 minutes away - it's Moûtiers Salins.

Beginners are best served on skis in the Pralong and Bellecote ski areas: there are long and soft trails. Under the Jardin Alpin, there are many "green" and "blue" trails.
For medium-level skiers, the best routes are in the area of La Vizelle, especially the "red" routes Cre (Creux) and Marmot (Marmottes) are especially good. Very beautiful is the descent of the Bouc Blanc, passing through the forest and ending in La Tania. Uncomplicated "black" descents of Pyramide and Grandes Bousses are classified as "black", but in fact, these are "red" routes of increased complexity.
Steep "professional" trails descend from the station Solir (Saulire, 2738 m) - the area of the Col du Pas du Lac, complex areas are in the areas of skiing Grand Couloir and Les- Aval (Les Avals). From Col de la Loze station (Col de la Loz, 2274 m) down to the level of 1300 m there are two interesting "black" tracks with the length of about 1, 5 km.
Slopes in the Courchevel-1300 area (Le Praz) are in the forest - they are good for skiing in bad weather.
In addition, the resort has one half-pipe, one snowpark, more than 500 snow cannons and 65 lifts; the longest route of Courchevel is 3, 9 km - in a word, the opportunities for skiing here "by the eyes."
