How to get to Chamonix
In Chamonix you can easily get from any European capital: the city is on the border with Italy (the 11-kilometer tunnel connects the countries under the Mont Blanc mountain) and Switzerland. The nearest airports are Geneva (80 km, 1, 5 hours), Lyon (226 km, 4 hours).
