- Flight Helsinki - Kuopio (50 minutes), then transfer Kuopio - Tahko (1 hour)
- Train Helsinki - Siilijärvi (5 hours 17 minutes), transfer Siiliyarvi - Tahko (half an hour).

Trails Tahko
The resort has 23 descents with 15 lifts, a fan park, half pipe and trails for the "dockers".
Fans of walking on cross-country skiing will be pleased with the network of various routes with a total length of more than 65 km. These tracks are suitable for both beginners and aces, and the route leading to the very top of Mount Tahkovuori is considered one of the best (and most beautiful) in Finland.
For children under 7 years old there is a free lift, children's descent, a mountain for sledding.

Safari on snowmobiles, dog sledding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, special driving courses in winter. In Siilinjärvi, half an hour's drive from the ski center, the Fontanella Water and Wellness Center (SPA Fontanella) is open. In the town of Nilsiä there is a sports complex with playgrounds for tennis and squash, gyms, a skating rink. At 800 m from the slopes there is a farm where they give lessons on horseback.
