The national flag of Estonia is a rectangular tricolor measuring 105 × 165 cm, consisting of the same the value of horizontal bands. Lower - white, above it black, at the top - cornflower blue. This flag was created in 1881 by members of the national student corporation "Vironia" and consecrated 3 years later. It became a symbol for all who fought for the independence of Estonia. When it was proclaimed for the first time, on February 24, 1918, "blue-black-white" became the national flag. While Estonia was part of the USSR, tricolor was not used. He reigned in the tower of the capital only in 1990, and a year later Estonia again became independent.
