Vilnius - Tallinn: how to get there?
Responsible information department of the "Tourism Subtlety"
Eurolnes, Ecolines, Lux Express buses run daily from Vilnius to Tallinn and back. Mail all routes provide for docking in Riga, flights without transplantation are extremely few. The total travel time is 8.5 to 9 hours, a trip costs 20-36 EUR.
You can get from one city to another by plane, which is much faster: the flight will take an hour and a half from the passenger. The ticket for a direct flight will cost more than a bus, at 60-90 EUR and above.
But there are no direct trains between Tallinn and Vilnius. From the Estonian capital to go to Lithuania with a transfer in Moscow. Either take the Tallinn-Moscow train to Ivangorod or Kingisepp, from there by train to St. Petersburg and to Vilnius by a direct train from St. Petersburg. Or take a bus from Tallinn to Tartu, then to Pskov and take the St. Petersburg-Vilnius train there.
