Pärnu, the most beautiful historical resort on the beach, is famous for its spa centers, a beautiful sandy beach and beautiful parks. The first spa center was opened here in 1838.
How to get here
The easiest way to get to Pärnu is to take a plane and fly to the capital of Estonia - Tallinn or the capital of Latvia - Riga. From both airports that connects Via Baltica (E67), Pärnu is only a couple of hours away.
The bus station is located in the center of the city of Pärnu at Ringi 3. From here all buses depart and there is also a nearby public transport stop nearby. At the bus station there are ticket offices, information, luggage and cafes. The ticket offices of the bus station are open from Monday to Friday from 06.15 to 19.30, on Saturdays and Sundays - a short day.
Between Pärnu and Tallinn there is an everyday railway service. "Everyday" means - one train early in the morning (07.17), and the other in the evening (17.08) and travel time (2.40). Nevertheless, traveling by train, for many in its own way, is attractive and convenient, since it is possible to take a bicycle, for example, to a train, and in a financial sense it is a cheaper type of transportation.
Those who decide to arrive at the resort on their own car will be interested in information about border checkpoints: Pärnu is at an equal distance from the Narva and Kunichnaya Gorya (near Pskov) checkpoints, but the turn is traditionally much less at Kunichnaya Gora.
