What is the sea in Sharm el-Sheikh?
Responsible information department of "Tourism Subtlety"
The whole territory of the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh lies on the shore of the Red Sea. The city is located on the Sinai Peninsula, not far from the Gulf of Aqaba and Suez. Both are also part of the Red Sea, while the Gulf of Aqaba is a watershed between the Arabian and Sinai peninsulas. The Suez Bay, which is washing the western shore of Sinai, also serves as a kind of boundary: on its other side lies Africa. Well, Sharm el-Sheikh and the waters of the Red Sea around it belong to the Asian part of Egypt.
