Where is the Havel market in Prague?
Responds to the information department of the "Tourism Thin"
Walking around Prague, it is impossible not to stumble upon the food and souvenir market of Havelské Tržiště (Havel market), which is located in the Old Town at the intersection of Havelska and Melantrichova Streets. The market is open all year round, and handmade souvenirs here are apparently invisible, as are different varieties of Czech chocolate, waffles and biscuits. And in the season they sell ripe berries and fruits. And, of course, before the New Year, Havelské Tržiště turns into a traditional Christmas fair.
The most pleasant way to get to the Havel market is by walking, strolling along the favorite tourist route down Wenceslas Square. You can also take tram No. A, B, 3, 9, 14, 24, 51, 52, 54, 55, 56, 58 to the stop Václavské náměstí or by metro to Můstek station. Market address: Havelske náměstí, Praha 1.
