On what public transport is it more convenient to travel around Prague?
Responsible information department of "Subtlety of Tourism"
The most common transport in Prague is the metro. Only 3 branches, the distances between stations are short, the path from any outskirts to the city center will take no more than 20-25 minutes. The other type of public transport is not far from the subway - the tram - for tourists, perhaps the most interesting.
First, a trip on the Prague tram is one great pleasure. After all, you can glance along the sides and admire the beauties of this wonderful city. Secondly, you will never be late: trams run often (no more than 5 minutes of waiting) and exactly on schedule, however, like any transport in Prague. But you need to keep in mind that after 23:00 interval increases to 20 minutes. Trams run daily on 24 routes, at night - to 9. The most popular among tourists are Nos. 7, 9 and 22, because they pass by the main attractions.
There are also buses in Prague, but they are used only in those places where no tram tracks
