In Prague there are special short-term travel cards, also called tourist ones. The daily pass costs 100 CZK, the travel for 3 days - 330 CZK, and for 5 days - 500 CZK. These tickets are suitable for all types of public transport in the Czech capital. For children under 6 years old, the fare is free. To use the ticket is simple: at the entrance to the public transport, you need to validate the ticket so that it marks the time of the start of the trip.
Tourist travel, as well as other types of tickets can be bought in special yellow machines (note that they accept only coins, but also have a menu in English) and in ticket offices located at the metro stations Dejvicka, Hradcanska, Mustek, Florenc, Hlavni nadrazi, Nadrazi Holesovice, Namesti Miru. They work from 6:30 to 18:30. Such machines accept only coins, and instructions to them are written including in English. Also tickets can be purchased at Tabak / Trafika stores, newsagents and tourist information centers.
