Representatives of the Czech tourism industry are working out an anti-crisis program for tourists from Russia. With the fall in the RUB exchange rate, the cost of tours to the Czech Republic increased twofold.

Executive Director of the Ural Tourism Association, Mikhail Maltsev said that his organization had reached an agreement with Czech hoteliers to reduce the prices for Russian tourists by 40%. In addition, the Czech side is ready to introduce special prices for excursion programs.

In 2014 the cost of a voucher to the Czech Republic was about 35 thousand rubles per tourist, whereas in 2015 the prices rose to 60 thousand RUB. The rise in prices led to a significant decline in the tourist flow from Russia. During the New Year holidays, the number of tourists from Russia decreased by about 40%
