The municipality of the Czech capital intends to introduce a fee for motorists for entering the city center. At the same time it is planned to significantly reduce the cost of an annual pass in public transport
In July 2015, the price of a travel card can be reduced from 3,500 CZK to 2, 7 thousand CZK. Those who purchased annual travel at the old prices will be paid compensation. The authorities in Prague expect that a significant reduction in the cost of travel, coupled with the payment of paid entry to the city center will increase the number of travel tickets and relieve the capital.
