In Croatia, several sailing regattas are held every year. They are conducted under the control of Russian-speaking captains and are suitable both for seasoned "sea wolves" and for beginners of yachting. It is not uncommon for the regatta to choose Croatia: its coastline and, no less, 1145 islands that create excellent conditions for yachting.

Regards vary in the area of ​​navigation, and the type or length of the distance, professionalism and the composition of the crew, as well as the types or classes of yachts participating in them. The most notable are the "May Regatta", which will be held from April 26 to May 3, immediately after it will pass the amateur "Euroregate" from 3 to 10 May, and in the autumn the famous Bavaria Cup will be held from September 27 to October 4. In the fall, the Croatia Coast Cup or the "Champions Cup" is held from 4 to 11 October. And the beginning of the season is commemorated by the Firstbyfirst regatta - from 5 to 12 April, followed by the Yacht Capitans Cup from 26 April to 3 May, the regatta "45 feet" from 24 to 31 May

There are also such regattas that are traditionally held at the beginning season and closer to its completion: "Russian Adriatic Regatta" or Russian Adriatic Regatta from 19 to 26 April and from 4 to 11 October, as well as the Ocean Medi Cup Light 4 - 11 May and the main regatta Ocean Medi Cup - October 4 - 11.
