Haikou (Haikou) - the capital of the southern Chinese province of Hainan (located in the north of the same name with the province of the island). This is a large coastal city located in the tropics. Despite the size, life in Haikou is measured and unhurried. Cars go leisurely, and locals prefer to walk in silk pajamas.

The Chinese habit of arranging a "quiet hour" after dinner (even on the street) is very common here.

After a refreshing sleep, locals prefer to play cards with their friends until the night. But every second offer something to buy to tourists stick much less often. Here, clean air, a lot of coconut palms, and in the evening the streets are animated, filled with mobile kiosks, and open restaurants - by visitors.
