Perhaps, the leader among inexpensive, but comfortable ski resorts in Europe can be called Bulgaria. For example, Pamporovo is 80 km from Plovdiv, the southernmost ski resort in Europe. Rest here is quite calm and measured, the length of the trails is 20 km, most for beginners, there are no queues to the ski lifts, equipment rental, accommodation and meals are all cheap.
Also in the ranking of inexpensive Eastern European resorts suitable for beginners alpine skiers, along with the Polish Zakopane and Slovene Vogel, you can distinguish: Harrachov, Klin, Prichovic Kapa, Troyak, Viprachtice in the Czech Republic, Predeal, Sinaia and Poiana Brasov in Romania, Kopaonik in Serbia, Bansko , Chepelare in Bulgaria, Stary Smokovec, Satichki in Slovakia, Ramkalni in Latvia.
