The nearest to Austria's Austrian ski resort is Semmering (distance from Budapest to the resort is about 300-350 km).

Also, Semmering is also a balneological resort. It is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level, surrounded by beautiful forests and mountain slopes. In the resort there are two skiing areas - Stulek (the length of the trails is 20 km) and Hirschenkogel (the length of the trails is 14 km).
