The Seefeld route
From the southern and northern outskirts of the town (5-10 minutes from the hotels on the ski-bus) there are two skiing areas - Gvandshkopf (Gschwandtkopf, 1500 m) and Seefelder Joch (2100 m) .The trails there are wide, with medium slopes and very comfortable uncomplicated skiing .The exception is the "red" route Harmelkopf (Harmelekopf), passing through a narrow twisty crest and sometimes very complicated .Descent along a wide forest clearing from the summit of Gvandoshkopf is quite possible even for beginners .Another thing is the "red" descent towards Wright .And on the western side of the mountain you can have fun without skis either, having descended a 500-meter bobsleigh chute in car chambers .
The cable cars from Seefeld lead to the summit of Rosshutte (1800 m), the largest and most sport oriented ski area in the region, the Seefelder-Joh Pass, a mountain station just below the summit of Hermlekopf (2223 m) .The undulating descents from Seefelder-Joch are not very complicated, but outside the slopes and on the other side of the pass there are vast areas with deep snow .If it is open for skating Reiter-Kark on Mount Hermlekopf (there is a danger of avalanches, therefore the site does not always work), the "pro" has an excellent opportunity to try out a complex and fascinating route .It makes sense to climb a little more and from the 2200-meter height to slip into Car .
