Pitztal tracks
The Hochzeiner ski area is located at altitudes of 1450-2450 m not far from the village of Erzens. There are 9 ski lifts and 45 km of trails with a drop of heights of 1000 m. There are trails of medium difficulty recommended for family skiing, as well as a site for fans of freestyle and "black" tracks for advanced skiers. There is also an illuminated toboggan run and a halfpipe for snowboarders.
Rifflsee (Rifflsee) is higher, at altitudes of 1680-2800 m. Basically there are uneasy "red" and "black" tracks.
The Pitztal Gletscher, one of the highest skiing areas in Austria (1740-3440 m), pleases the trails of different levels: 17 km of "red", 5 km of "black" and 6 km of "blue". The lifts are stretched in such a way that all the tracks are conveniently interconnected, and you can get to skiing anywhere in the ski area.
The Pittstal Ski School specializes in children and adolescents. The places for training the smallest skiers are Bambinipark and Kinderland. A local ski kindergarten accepts children from three years.
Mandarfen
This village is located more than 500 meters below the slope of Riflsee. The local trails start from a height of 1675 m and mostly pass along the slopes of the Pitztal glacier. Most of the local hotels are good "treshki" and "quartet", by the way, very affordable.
