How to get from Vienna to Budapest?

You can get to Budapest by train. The train departs from the Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) 11 times a day. The ticket price is from 19 EUR (the number of cheap tickets is limited). Train timetable can be viewed on the website

Regular flights of Austrian Airlines and Luxair (from Vienna to Budapest) are performed (50 min). Eurolines organizes regular bus services to the capital of Hungary. From the West Railway Station (Wien Westbahnhof) there are direct express rail services on the Vienna-Budapest route

Also from Vienna to Budapest you can get to the ferry on the Danube (ferries run from April to October, the journey time is 5-6 hours). From Vienna, ferries depart from the Reichsbrücke berth, located near the Mexikoplatz square, to Budapest ferries arrive at the international pier (Nemzetközi hajóállomás; V Belgrád rakpart).
