What dishes are worth trying in Vienna?

Try the taffeta. This is perhaps the most famous dish of Viennese cuisine. This is the beef rump, boiled with greens. Served with apple puree, horseradish, spinach. It was a favorite dish of the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. He ate it every day. And on dessert he was served Kaisershmarren (another Austrian thing that you can not miss) - a sweet omelette with plum jam.

Without a doubt, you can not leave Vienna without having tasted the world-famous Viennese Schnitzel. The man who orders this famous dish for the first time literally loses his speech at the moment when a huge and surprisingly thin piece of meat appears before him. No less popular is the Viennese rump, boiled with vegetables and seasonings, served with apple puree, horseradish and spinach. Lovers of meat, for sure, feel like in Vienna as a paradise on earth: they still have a great opportunity to taste Viennese roast beef with onion sauce, Viennese sausages, goulash and a boycott - veal veal in Vienna.

But the sweet tooth will find something tasty here, coffee shops serve a delicious local cherry pie and, of course, the famous Viennese strudel.
